Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Tina designed this amazing rainbow funeral arrangement for Margaret Pellegrini, the oldest living Munchkin, when she passed away on August 7, 2013. The perfect send-off for an amazing lady, Margaret was 14, the same age as Judy Garland, when the film The Wizard of Oz was made.
Sent by the grandson of L. Frank Baum, the author of The Wizard of Oz, his words were: If we don’t send flowers our family name won’t be present and no one will know we’re thinking about her.
Designed in the colors of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green blue and violet, this amazing floral tribute contains gladiolus, lilies, roses, alstroemeria, montecasino and mums.
Due to fresh flower availability and season adjustments, we reserve the right to substitute items of similar or greater value.
Tina –
My grandfather, L Frank Baum, wrote “The Wizard of Oz”. For many years we used Roadrunner Florist to send flowers to the oldest living Munchkin, Margaret Pellegrini, and upon her death we contacted Roadrunner for the last time. We knew would not be able to attend the Celebration of Life, but we also knew if we didn’t send flowers, our family name wouldn’t be present and no one would know we were thinking about her. Thank you Pamela and Tina for designing this beautiful Over the Rainbow floral arrangement from us.
