Before Mother’s Day Week

For a local flower shop, Mother’s Day Week begins 2 full before Mother’s Day! Why? It’s called “preparing” for the Big Day!

About 2 months ago we began deciding which flowers we would bring into the shop for you. We want them to be as fresh as can be, and still treated with the TLC that makes us famous.  We want to bring in pink, lavender, yellow and white, because those seem to be the colors de’holiday, of roses, carnations, daisies, alstroemeria, lilies, sunflowers, and lots more.

About May 5 we re-name our shop Roadrunner Forest! Yes, the greens come in about a week before the holiday. That way we can work with them to design your special floral arrangements!

Roadrunner ForestThe week of Mother’s Day we are honored to have you call, click or come by to place your orders for Mexican Mother’s Day (May 10) and Mother’s Day (May 13).

Mexican Mother’s Day is a red rose holiday.  It’s really fun to have our neighbors stop by to pick up their red roses for their mom.

A Dozen Red Roses

For American moms,  the flowers are more varied and fun! You can visit the home page of our website roadrunnerforist.com for our unique Mother’s Day specials.

The more you know about mom, the better we can personalize your gift. Does she had a favorite flower or color? Maybe she loves butterflies, stargazer lilies or gerbera daisies! You can choose your favorite (or hers!) from our Mother’s Day pages and know we will handle your order with the tender loving care you have always received from Roadrunner Florist.

Happy Mother's Day

Don’t worry!  I’ll remind you again as Mother’s Day gets closer. That will give you another opportunity to visit our site and make the perfect selection for mom.

We are very respectful of people who have lost their mothers, and we share in your loss on this day. Please accept our most sincere condolences and prayers.
