EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION DAY!
What are you doing to show your appreciation to your employees on Friday?
We’ve been employees. Did you know Pamela worked at Joske’s Department Store in downtown Phoenix before she opened Roadrunner Florist? She was the manager of the entire 2nd floor, which meant small appliances, beddings and household goods. Did you know Tina worked at The Broadway Department Store in Phoenix, where she ran the gift-wrap department and then was the store secretary?
Being an employee can be a very difficult job. Even though you’re working 9-5, you still have “lives” outside of work, which might include children, a significant other, and house to maintain. And then you are responsible for your daily work, too.
That’s why Friday, March 6, 2015, has been set aside as EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION DAY! It’s a time to say “thanks” for a job well done.
A desk-top floral arrangement is a great way to say “thanks!”
So is a nice easy-care green plant.
Perhaps you’d like to acknowledge a group of people with a great snack/goodie basket.
