I devote a lot of time sending reminders of the virtues of a real local flower shop. I use email, Facebook and I use the old-fashioned s-mail. I know how important it is that you understand the difference between a real local flower shop and an “order taker” or pretender, especially when you’re shopping on the Internet.

We have been in the same location, with the same owner and designer for more than 38 years. Prior to that time, Pamela E Smith graduated from Michigan State University Floriculture and SHE KNOWS HER FLOWERS! Our flowers arrive daily from wholesalers across the country and around the world! FRESH is our middle name!
An on-line order taker (such as Teleflora, FTD, 1800flowers, Proflowers, Avas Flowers, From You Flowers) might offer you the moon and the stars, and a large discount on their orders. But what do you get for your money? You get an order gatherer who is happy to take your order and your money, and then they have to find someone to fill the order!
