In honor of International Women’s Day, March 8, 2015, we invited our facebook friends, blog friends and email friends to nominate a particularly amazing lady to have this incredible floral arrangement named after her.
Several names were placed into nomination, and the winner, by 3-1, is

“I would like to nominate Michelle Binaghi. Simply because I think it takes a really strong woman to raise a special needs child. I admire the way in which she raises hers. I think she goes above and beyond trying to find answers to help her son. He was getting a tube feeding and she helped to get him off of that and has worked very hard at finding healthy alternatives to make the Best life for her child. Plus she home schools him and runs a full time sewing business to make ends meet. What I truly admire is that I never hear her complain about the hand she’s been dealt.”
My personal dealings with Michelle have been easy, professional and creative. She designed a Princess Sophia felt paper doll for my granddaughter Harper! The stitching is perfect and the creativity is unbelievable. She had to find the pattern for Princess Sophia, make the felt doll and mail it to Harper, all of which she did with remarkable professionalism.
Michelle embodies the spirit and strength of a woman deserving to be honored on International Women’s Day. It is with great pride that we name this beautiful floral arrangement after Michelle Binaghi.
