Easter Lily Peep

Peep! It’s an Easter Lily Peep!! Peeps seem to be all the rage, every year. Our local TV station had a segment on their production recently, which showed how it used to take hours to hand-design each one, and now it’s about 6 minutes from start to finish! Here’s what Wikipedia says about Peeps (I find this fascinating!).

Peeps are marshmallow candies sold in the United States and Canada that are shaped into chicks, bunnies, and other animals. There are also different shapes used for various holidays. Peeps are used primarily to fill Easter baskets  though recent advertising campaigns market the candy as “Peeps – Always in Season”.  They are made from sugar, corn syrup, gelatin, and various food dyes.
