Lovely Red and White Roses

There’s nothing like a dozen red roses!   Absolutely nothing! But when you want to brighten them up, then add white!  Our Lovely Red and White Roses is stunning! There’s something about white that makes the red POP!

I’m going to tell you a story that I love to tell.  A few years a business owner in Scottsdale wanted to say Thank You to the ladies on the staff of the newsroom at a local TV station. He asked for a dozen roses for each lady and wanted them to be different colors. The colors and which lady received which one was up to me.

Although I don’t know the ladies, I do welcome one of them into my home every night for the news.  I feel as if I know her… you know what I mean!

Pamela designed the roses.  A dozen red.  A dozen white.  A dozen yellow.  A dozen pink.  And a dozen mixed.

Then it was up to me to choose which lady received which dozen.

I put them all up on the counter and stood back.  Then I looked at the names, and since I only knew one (the newscaster) I chose hers first. Pink (because that’s my favorite color).

One writer received yellow, the other received mixed. The editor received white.  The director received red.

It was SO MUCH FUN to see all the roses lined up like little soldiers, and to know they were going to very excited ladies at Channel 15!

I hope some day you’ll order dozens of roses so I can do this again!  It’s the perfect way to say “thanks” to the ladies in your life!
