I came across this beautiful post the other day and Pamela and I decided to share it with you.
I crochet a lot of gifts for friends and relatives. It gives me great joy to see their faces when they receive them, too. Here are some of the comments I’ve received lately:

This post makes me think of my grandmother, who was always crocheting. The whole family treasures the many blankets she left behind. One of these days I hope to learn more than just how to make a chain.
I’m glad you have fond memories of your grandmother. Mine taught me, too, first by learning to chain, chain, chain. Then she showed me how to go back, which is the secret to crochet success!!
