We would like to share and would love to see all of our neighborhoods shining in blue in support of this day and in honor of all the people who are “Different, Not Less”
April 2nd is Put a Blue Light Bulb in your porch light.
It’s World Autism Awareness Day — and it’s also the day we kick off our annual global autism awareness initiative.
It’s called Light It Up Blue. People from all across the globe light up their homes, schools, offices, and iconic landmarks the color blue throughout the month of April.
There are endless ways to participate — swap in a blue light bulb on your front porch, get folks at work to wear something blue, or turn your Facebook profile picture blue to show support for our community.
The most important thing is that you’re part of it.
This is our chance to shine a light on autism and make sure the world is paying attention. Families with autism deserve nothing less.
